Data Policy

This policy describes the information we collect and process to support the Sightsea product provided by Sightsea Labs. We will notify you of any policy changes via your contact information and through notifications on our applications.

I. What types of information do we collect?

Activities and information you provide

Information you provide: We collect contact information and other details when you use our Product, including when you register an account. This information may include contact details, your current location, and your preferences.
Your usage: We collect information about how you use our product, such as the type of content you view or interact with; the features you use; actions you take; the people or accounts you interact with; and the timing, frequency, and duration of your activities. For example, we record when and how long you use our Product, as well as the posts, videos, and other content you view on it. We also collect information on how you use the features.

Device Information

As described below, we collect information from and about computers, phones, connected devices, and other web-connected devices that you use to integrate with our product. We also combine this information across the different devices you use. For example, we use the information collected about how you use our product on your phone to better personalize content (including ads) or features you see when using our product on another device, like a laptop/tablet, or to measure whether you act on ads we show on one device but viewed on another.

Information we collect from these devices includes:

Device attributes: such as operating system, hardware, and software versions.
Device activity: information about actions and behaviors on the device, such as whether a window is in the foreground or background or mouse movements (this helps distinguish humans from bots).
Identifiers: unique device identifiers and other identifiers.
Data from device settings: information you allow us to receive through device settings you enable, like GPS, camera, or photos.
Network and connections: information like language, time zone, and mobile number.

II. How do we use this information?

We use the information we have (subject to your choices) as described below to provide and support Sightsea Labs' products. Here's how:

We use the information we have to provide the product, including personalizing features and content (including the Sightsea feed, Sightsea Stories, and ads) and making suggestions for you (like users, pages, or topics you might be interested in).

Location-related information: We use location-related information like your current location, where you live, and nearby places or businesses to personalize and improve our products (including ads) for you and others using Sightsea Labs' products.
Ads and other sponsored content: We use the information we have about you, including your interests, actions, and connections, to select and personalize ads, offers, and other sponsored content we show you.

Contacting you.

We use the information we have to send you marketing communications, inform you about our products, and update you on our policies and terms. We also use your information to respond when you contact us.
